Mission & Philosophy

Our Mission

Provide an excellent bilingual education which pursues the physical development and spiritual growth of our students based on the Catholic faith and inspired by Saint Vincent de Paul teachings of love, mercy and service.

Our Philosophy

Sacred Heart School is a coed Catholic school, from Pre-Kinder to eighth grade that offers a constructivist humanist and social education, respecting learning styles of our students within an evangelizing setting. Our institution respects the individuality of students by promoting appreciation for diversity in our school community. Therefore, our objectives are developed in an environment of participation and cooperation between teachers, students, parents, administrative staff and other members of our school community.
As a Christian community, we honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus, who embodies and represents the totality of Christ*s personality, His love, and His unconditional devotion. We are enlightened by the Franciscan and Vincentian charismas that are characteristic of the Congregations that lead our school. Both styles of devotion guide us toward the acceptance of God as the Center of our lives and simply put ourselves at the service of those in need.

The excellent standards that distinguish our institution are attained through an integrated education in both languages, English and Spanish. It includes the teachings of the Catholic Faith, a solid academic base, exposure to arts, music, technology, sports, science and math laboratories, languages and a varied program of activities.
